Account management
Delete your Gold Vantage account
Deleting your account removes your Gold Vantage sign-in and account access. It is separate from information stored only on your device.
Delete in the app
- Open Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm your current password.
You can also select Erase all Gold Vantage data on this device. Leave it unselected to keep using your local Vault as a guest.
These controls are also available in signed iPhone Debug builds used for pre-release testing. iPhone Release authentication remains disabled, so this does not indicate App Store availability.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@goldvantage.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete your Gold Vantage account. We will verify ownership before deletion. Never send us your password.
What is deleted
Your Supabase authentication account, sign-in information, Gold Vantage entitlement record, synced portable preferences, structured Cloud Vault records, price alerts, notification-centre history and push registrations are deleted from live systems. Android Cloud Vault attachment ciphertext becomes unavailable for download immediately and is removed asynchronously after the storage service confirms deletion. Encrypted backup copies expire within 7 days.
For an Android subscriber, account deletion also requests erasure of the associated RevenueCat customer record. It does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel that subscription separately in Google Play before deleting the account.
Gold Vantage cannot remotely erase device-local Vault records, attachments or negotiations. If you leave device erasure unselected, the app detaches the current local Vault and portable choices from the deleted account and keeps them for guest use. If selected, Android and signed iPhone Debug builds clear their app-owned local data and protected authentication material before returning to guest use. iPhone Release authentication remains unavailable until the remaining App Store release blockers are complete.
Optional Firebase Analytics is linked to a random app identifier, not your account. Turn analytics off in Settings to stop future collection and reset that local identifier. Events already uploaded are not deleted by account deletion and remain subject to the retention period in the privacy policy.
